A Monster Lurks the Streets

When I leave the house, I put on my snow pants, then my boots. My hat, sometimes goggles, neckwarmer, parka and gloves. It looks a little like this monster:

I can't wear makeup when I walk because it will all sweat or freeze off. So I keep a bag at school and then I get to transform from that monster into this:

At least today that's what I looked like.

When I first came here, the principal told me that as long as I have the right gear, -54 and -20 will feel exactly the same. I nodded but internally scoffed a bit.

Turns out.... 100% right. And I am VERY fortunate for Marks Work Wearhouse and my amazing mother because I have the right gear.
